Joanne Linnea Wise (nee wickstrom) died on September 8, 2017 at Hope Hospice House in Cape Coral, Florida. She was 80 years of age.
Joanne was preceded in death by her loving husband Frank; parents Oscar and Margaret; beloved sister Shirley Buckley (the late Bill); and devoted brother Richard (Cherrie). She is survived by her brother Jerry; sister Carol Welch (David); grandchildren, Erin, Lindsay Gilger (Ryan), Kristen, Maggie Wise, K.C. Bruderle and Emma Bruderle. Joanne will be sorely missed by her children; daughter and caregiver Susan, Michael and Donald. Joanne had a varied career as a waitress, homemaker, secretary, the head of Rhodes scholar program at Kemper Life, and as an executive secretary at Motorola. Many thanks to the kindnesses shown to her by her wonderful neighbors Rich and Mary Macchiaroli and her friends Pat Duncan, Nancy Wallace and all the girls at her sorority. A Memorial will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements handled by Fuller Metz Cremation and Funeral Service in Cape Coral, FL.
