Pauline A Sullivan

July 2, 1930 ~ October 17, 2017 (age 87) 87 Years Old

PAULINE ANGELA CYR SULLIVAN
Pauline Angela Cyr Sullivan, 87, of Cape Coral FL, Naples FL and Old Town, Maine, died peacefully at Hope Hospice on Tuesday, 10/17/17.
Pauline was born July 2, 1930 in Old Town, Maine to Arthur and Edna Theriault Cyr. She was the eldest of 5 children.
Pauline graduated from Old Town High School in 1948 and worked at The Eastern Trust Bank until she married the love of her life, Ed Sullivan, on January 11, 1958. Together they enjoyed the next fun filled 50 plus years moving around New England and Florida, returning every summer to Pauline's favorite spot on Earth--camp at Pushaw Lake. Five generations of family (and counting) have made great memories there. Being around Pauline meant lots of laughs, lots of kisses, lots of wine and singing and lots of lobster!
A passionate singer, Mom's beautiful voice filled Smuggler's Cove with Italian Arias and songs. Pauline was also an avid swimmer and even swam halfway across the cove with her son Ted and Granddaughter Colleen--when she was 78.
The only thing Pauline loved more than her camp was her family. To be loved by Pauline...is to know what feeling treasured means.
Pauline performed with various chorale groups from Maine to Key West, FL, including performances with the Naples Philharmonic Bach Ensemble on the Queen Mary II and in Bath, England. She performed in several Operas and musicals. Although her stint as a nun at the Sisters of the Good Shepherd was short-lived, she filled many churches with song, singing both as a Cantor and in countless choirs.
Everywhere she went she made some of the best friends a person could hope for. She loved playing bridge, and tennis - and, before meeting Ed, dancing at The Anchorage.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Ed, brother Paul Cyr, and sisters Caroline and Catherine.
She is survived by her brother Arthur Roger, her children Ted Sullivan (Michelle), and Stephanie Sullivan (Nancy), grandchildren Ryan, Susan, Colleen, Rachael, Megan, Callie and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her--even the loons on the lake. She is singing with the angels now.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Naples, FL on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at St. William's Catholic Church.
Another Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday January 6, 2018 at 11am. St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Old Town, ME.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to KCOA - PO Box 307 Stillwater Maine 04489.
