Peter DiVenere, 91, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on October 26, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Peter was born in Bari, Italy in 1926. Peter came to The United States with his family when he was 9. The family settled in Chicago, Illinois where Peter grew up. He moved to Florida with his wife in 1977 settling in Cape Coral. Peter was a United States Army Veteran serving during World War II. Peter enjoyed singing Italian opera, boating and was a very hard worker. He cherished time with his family especially the grandchildren.

Left behind to cherish in Peter’s memory are his wife of 68 years, Josephine; daughter Mary (Dan), granddaughter, Nicole (Nicholas), great grandchildren, Kamryn and Karsyn. Peter was predeceased by his son, Peter, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
