Richard King Bloise

Richard King Bloise, Sr. , affectionately known as "Grampa Baby" by his adoring family, passed away on January 13, 2019 in Cape Coral, FL at the age of 80. He was born on April 4, 1938 in Washington D.C. to the late Dr. Francis I. Bloise and Vera Bloise. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, June Y. Bloise on March 29, 2018. Also preceding him in death was his sister, Betty. He will be dearly missed by 5 children; Dodi, Richard II, Robert, Michael, and Francis, as well as 5 grandchildren; Jessica, Angela, Shahinaz, Naydeen, Chantel, and 5 great-grandchildren; Jerikka, Avery, Vann, Aniya, and Jordyn. Richard lived in Cape Coral since 1970, and had enjoyed retirement for the last 15 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Richard was an avid animal lover, and enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels from his porch at home. He was a wonderful father and grandfather, regarded by his family as their hero. Services will be planned at a future date together with his late wife June.
