Sandra Eugenia Winter

Sandra Eugenia Winter, 52, of Cape Coral passed away Sunday March 31, 2024. Born in Chicago, IL to Rudy & Maria Rosales. Sandra graduated from St. Scholastica High School in 1990 and graduated from Loyola University with a BS. in Chemistry in 1995.  She spent time in Central America where she furthered her education, obtaining a Licentiate Degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology.  She continued to show her passion for science and contributed to different research projects.  She then moved back to the US in 2015.  She became a teacher and taught Chemistry and other sciences at Dunbar HS for 8 years.  In 2019, she happily married Brian, whom she shared some of the happiest years of her life.  Sandra was kindhearted, intelligent, optimistic, and always kept a smile on her face.  She was dedicated to her work, she loved her family, and inspired those close to her.  She will be dearly missed by everyone she left behind. May her soul rest in peace and her memory forever resonate in our hearts.
Survivors include her husband Brian, her sister Lisette, a sweet pup, and her parents.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday April 9th, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fuller Metz Funeral Home. A small service will be held at 7:00 PM.
