Virginia “Gini” Stella Johnson, 92, of Cape Coral died Monday 5-8-17. She was born in Sandusky, OH in 1924 to the late Anthony and Anna Fresch. Gini was a hairdresser for over 60 years. She married Adolph I. Johnson in 1951 and spent many years as a Navy wife in many locations. She moved to Cape Coral in 1971 from Monroeville, OH. Gini was the former owner of Virlons Beauty Salon in N. Ft. Myers. She was a patron of St. Andrew Catholic Church and volunteered at the Hope Chest.
Survivors include her three children; Thor (Mary) Johnson of Ohio, Anna Wunder of Cape Coral, and Robyn Carte of Tuscon, AZ, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Lance Johnson in 1968 along with seven siblings.
