Zygfryd “Ziggy” John Tukiendorf, 75, of Cape Coral passed away July 4, 2017. He was born in Poland in 1941 to the late Alfons and Helena Tukiendorf. Ziggy came to American in 1949 and settled in New Jersey. He married Gloria in 1963 in Perth Amboy, NJ. Ziggy worked for General Motors in Linden, NJ for 28 years. He retired in 2000 and moved to Cape Coral in 2001. He served his country honorably with the US Army. He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, American Legions Post 90 and the Moose Club all in Cape Coral.
Survivors include his wife Gloria, nieces and nephews; George Herc, Richard Herc, and Helena Worhol all of NJ, Gertrude Haertling of NM, Joann Ader and Cheryl Sevedge of IA, Andrea Daniele-Roche of CA, and Lisa Daniele Trujillo of Cape Coral. He was preceded in death by sisters Henrietta and Jayda Herc.
