Anthony Nicholas DeLellis

Anthony Nicholas DeLellis was born in Trenton, New Jersey on August 20, 1933. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Laura DeLellis, brothers Albert and John and sisters Divina Bosso and Ultima Tindall.

He survived by his wife of 69 years Margaret, son Anthony (Heidi Roland), daughter Carole Hewitson (Byron Stoddard), three granddaughters Dana (Ryan Munz), Cory and Amy Delellis, two great grandchildren, Anthony (AJ) and Gwendolyn, and sisters Jean Claudilli and Mary Barbato, and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. DeLellis was employed at Pathmark Supermarkets for 28 years in management as general store manager and then the meat supervisor for each of the New York, North Central and Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia regions. He retired in 1991.

He lived in Allentown and Robbinsville, New Jersey before moving to Cape Coral, Florida in 1997. He attended Trenton Catholic Boys High School and Rider University. He was a volunteer fire fighter with the Allentown, New Jersey Fire Department and a volunteer police officer with the Cape Coral Police Marine Patrol. He enjoyed the outdoors snowmobiling in Old Forge, New York, hunting in New Jersey and fishing with the Cape Coral Tarpon Hunters Club. He served with the United States Marine Corps Reserves in the 1950s.
