Arnold Robert Brilhart

Arnold "Bud" R Brilhart, 81, of Upper Captiva Island died Tuesday August 28th, 2018.  He was born in Huntington, New York in 1937 to the late Arnold Sr. Brilhart & Verly Mills Brilhart.  Bud grew up in Huntington, New York before serving in the military honorably with the US Army where he played the trumpet in a military band.  Later, he moved to Carlsbad California and worked with his dad in the family business until around 1976 when he moved to Sanibel Island and took up a career in real estate.  From 1978 up until retirement in 2005, Bud ran North Captiva Realty with his son Bryan Brilhart.  He enjoyed golfing, playing his trumpet and spending time with his family.  He is survived by his brother Bob Brilhart,  Son Bryan Brilhart, daughter in law Sandie Brilhart, grand children Sara, Bryan jr, Bianca and Michael.
