Arthur Joseph Guelcher

Arthur (Art) Joseph Guelcher, 89, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away on Friday, January 7th, 2022.

Art was born in Bronx, NY on March 8th, 1932. He graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School, class of 1950. He served in the United States Army and worked for the McCrory Company for 44 years. Art and his wife Doris (Beemer) Guelcher were married March 13th,1976.

Retired as of 1994, Art enjoyed woodworking, watching baseball, reading, gardening and singing at church. 

Art is survived by his wife Doris Guelcher, daughter Deborah House, grandson Wesley House, son Scott (Kelly), granddaughters Bailey and Taylor.

The funeral service will be held 11 AM on January 13th at Trinity Lutheran Church,706 SW 6th Ave, Cape Coral, Fl, 33991. Pastor Kanefke will be officiating.  Visitation will be prior to the service, starting at 10 AM. Burial will be at Sarasota National Cemetery on January 17th at 1:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
