Betsy Jane Allen

Betsy J. Allen passed suddenly on September 25, 2021. She was born May 10, 1940 to Benjamin and Ruth Gorman in Detroit, Michigan. In 1960 she married Wayne L. Allen and raised a family, three daughters: Nancy Berryman of Gainesville, FL, Linda Clark (Chuck) of Cape Coral, FL, and Diane Leichtweis of Ft. Myers, FL. She was the beloved grandmother of Adam Clark (Adriana), Lucas Leichtweis,  Rachel McCabe (Daniel), Amanda Berryman,  Andrew Berryman, and great-grand-daughter, Sophia McCabe. She is preceded in death by her parents and leaves behind a sister, Lorraine Sheeran, and brother, Richard Gorman, a niece and nephews.

Please join the family on October 8, 2021 at noon for a Memorial Service at Branch of Life, 422 NE 2nd Place, Cape Coral, Florida 33909.

Betsy was a kind soul, a "Blessing" to her family and everyone she meant.  She spent her life devoted to her family. In her spare time you could find her in her craft/sewing room, cooking a new recipe, or caring for those less fortunate than her. She will be missed.
