Caitlin Elaine Nord, 17 years old of Cape Coral Florida. Passed away peacefully on January 11th
at 10:40 p.m. at Golisano Children's Hospital.
She was born in Cape Coral on September 12th 2002. She was in her junior year at Ida Baker
High School where she was involved in many activities such as theater, choir, and dance.
Caitlin enjoyed martial arts, gymnastics. In her younger years she enjoyed many years of cheering for CCJFA. She was overall a very talented young woman.
Caitlin had a big heart and helped with many charity activities like feeding the homeless and
children at christmas. She ran a 5k for autism, and volunteered with the motorcycle club to make
this world a little nicer place.
Caitlin played on the powder puff football team every year throughout high school where she
dominated the field.
She was extremely smart and had been in advanced classes since elementary school.
She planned on becoming a pediatric surgeon. She wanted to help children when they needed
it most. She truly lived life through Simple Pleasures chatting with friends and family, always
eating, and spending time with her Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
Caitlin had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She had a great sense
of humor and she loved to make people laugh or smile, especially when they needed it most.
Caitlin was a beautiful, smart, and loving young woman who will be missed dearly!
Caitlin is survived by her mother and stepfather Dianna and Edward Coleman. Grandfather
Richard Furneisen. Grandparents Richard and Theresa Jorden. Her brother Tyler Nord.
Step father, Josh Grobmyer
Along with Aunts & Uncles Shawn and Brian Pecararo, Richard Jorden, Rick & Melissa Furneisen,
Billy & Christine Nord, and many more. Along with many many cousins and best friend Sophia
Ayala.
The funeral services will be held at Fuller-Metz Funeral Home on Saturday the 19th 2020.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 1130 a.m. with a Service at 11:30am
