Calvin Griffin Jr.

Calvin Griffin Jr; 75, passed away July 16, 2019 at home after a long fight with Cancer. He was the beloved husband to Linda Sue Griffin. They shared 6 years together. Born in Parrish, Florida. He served his Country, first in the Army, and then the Marines in Vietnam. He will be remembered for his kind; overly-giving nature and his repetitive stories that would always make everyone laugh, no matter how many times he told them. Calvin is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Griffin, son Rico Cerda, daughter Tina Welborn, 5 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Champion. A full military honors service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2019 at 11:30 am at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida.
