Cary E Brown

Cary E Brown ,72 passed away on Jan 1, 2021 at home with his family by his side after a three year battle with cancer.  He moved to Florida in 1983 from Salem, NH. and resided in North Fort Myers. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Kathleen, and his daughter Sharon Sloat and son Cary (Jodie) Brown Jr. He is also survived by grandchildren Ashley Sloat, Ariana (Cory) DeRoach, Chelsea and Jadon Brown and three great grandchildren Cameron, Carly and Colby DeRoach. Cary was a veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam. He was a Building Supervisor with the Lee County School District for 20 years and supervised the opening of Three Oaks Elementary, Diplomat Elementary and Trafalgar Elementary Schools. Also survived by brothers Dennis, Timothy, Walter, David and Steven, and sisters LuAnn, Nancy, Linda, Mary and Shirley. Arrangements are being handled by Fuller Metz Funeral and Cremation. At the families request services will be private.
