Charles, (Chuck), Marcolini was born into eternal life on October 21, 2017 with his family by his side.  He was born on February 11, 1939 to Frank and Margueritte Marcolini.
Chuck worked for 46 years on the railroad where he held various positions. Although, he spent the majority of his time on the rails as locomotive engineer, a position that gave him tremendous joy. 
Upon moving to Florida in 1996, family and friends continuously flocked down to visit.  The door was always open. There was no greater joy to Chuck than to break bread and offer a “Salud!” with those he loved. A dedicated provider with a kind heart, Chuck was always coming up with a funny joke that was completely unexpected.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Kathy, his children Matt (Elizabeth) Marcolini, Terri Marcolini, Chuck Marcolini Jr. , Mary (Tom) Sandaker, and Elizabeth (Floyd) Golembiewski, his sister Mary (Michael) Gasser, his nephew Michael (Sonia) Marcolini, along with 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Fuller Metz Funeral Home with the Funeral Mass on Wednesday, Oct 25 at 11am.  The family is taking Chuck on his ‘last ride on the rails’ to go home to Chicago after the services in Florida.  There will be a service for Chuck at his final resting place, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, on Monday, October 30th at 11am.
