Dear David, today is 11 months since your death, and tomorrow is your birthday. You would've been 53 years young. 😔😢😭🙁
I think about you every day. I love you & miss you terribly! 💔💔💔 I drove by your condo yesterday. I sat in Burger King eating onion rings and looked across the street at the Lobster Lady Seafood restaurant where you last worked . I have the birthday card I gave you last year. It was on your nightstand. I found it after looking into your bedroom when they came to take your body away. I know that this birthday you are no longer suffering & finally at peace. 💕 I love you forever baby brother!! 💔😔

Dear family and friends, May God Bless all of you for the many beautiful and warm remembrances of David. It is your memories and thoughts that have helped me get through the most difficult time of my life. To me David was the most wonderful caring son. I was privileged to have had him in my life. He made me laugh and we shared many memories Thanksgiving was his favorite holiday. He loved all the traditional food, the gathering of family and his beloved Patriots football. There are no words to say how much I will miss him in my day life. I do believe that he is still with me , in my heart and my thoughts and prayers. Thank you to all of you who have shared your wonderful experiences and memories with me. God Bless you all.

David was a gift to all who knew him. He was a kind and thoughtful friend, a truly funny man, and he had a real talent for reaching troubled youth. I will carry him in my heart for the rest of my life. I just so wish I could hear his voice again.

Dear Grabauskas Family:
I had Dave as a Squad Leader my freshman year at Norwich. He was tough, fair and dedicated to his job and to our company. It was an honor to receive my class ring from him my junior year. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
Paul Parsons

With sincere condolences I send this message to Dave's family. Dave was a special guy that had great impact on people who had the privilege of intersecting their lives with his. I have not seen Dave in some 30 years, but he had a great impact on my life and many of those who were his "students" as freshman in "Golf Company" at Norwich in 1985. Dave taught us many good and hard lessons that serve all of us to this day. He was one of the influences that led me to the Marine Corps...for that I am forever grateful to him. It is with great sadness that I hear of Dave's passing and send my prayers to our God for Dave and for his daughter who will have to carry-on without him. In my office sits picture of Dave presenting me with my Norwich ring and while I have not seen Dave in so many years I will forever hear his "Cadre" voice in the back of my head telling me that I can do better. "To be early is to be on time, to be on time is to be late and to be late is to be...". I hear it all the time over the years as preach those words, Dave's words, to my children. They are em-brazened in my being. Rest peacefully Devil Dog and Semper Fi!!!

Dear Mrs. Grabauskas, Emily and family,
Please accept my sincere condolences. I have fond memories of David during our time at Mary D Stone school and as we grew up. He was a very kind person with a great sense of humor. I feel fortunate to have shared a conversation with him a couple of years ago as we reconnected via facebook. My thoughts and prayers are with you during the difficult time.
