Dorothy Grace Hayden, 78, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away October 10, 2017 surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born in North Wales, Pennsylvania in 1938. She moved to Irving, Texas in 1963 with her family before settling in Fort Myers, Florida in 1969. Dorothy worked and retired from Advantage Transportation/Coral Rock in Punta Gorda, Florida. Dorothy enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, playing Mahjong and clearing the board in two minutes and cross word puzzles.

Dorothy is survived by her son John “Jack” Robert (Pam), daughters Dorothy Jill (Dave), Anna Mae , and Dee Ann (Bruce), grandchildren Lisa, Kristy, Steve, Billie , John, Denica (Aaron), Justin, Allison (Michael) and Destiny, great grandchildren, Larry, Zackary, Zoey, Lil Bill, Kailey, Madilyn, Garrett, Zander, Bryson, Kyalee,Lila Grace, John Wyatt, Ian Antilles and Ryan along with many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her brother George Walton Dilworth Jr., her sisters Florence Marie Rohrbach and Anna Mae Pierce “Dinny”.

Dorothy will be sorely missed and always remembered.

There will be a private celebration of life conducted by the family at a later date.
