Edwin W. LaSanska

Edwin Wyllie LaSanska, 85, of Cape Coral died peacefully, at home, on May 1, 2020. He was born April 23, 1935 in Downers Grove, Illinois the son of Edwin and Mildred (Wyllie) LaSanska. He grew up in Naperville, Illinois and in 1955 married Bernice Barna, also of Naperville.  He and Bernice ran Brin-Mor Kennels in St. Charles, Illinois where they bred and showed champion German Shepherds.  He was a proud member of IBEW Local 701 for over 60 years.  Serving as president from 1971 to 1983.  He is survived by his beloved wife, Bernice, two sons, Michael of Cape Coral, Florida and Mark (Erika) of Yorkville, Illinois, 5 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his only brother, Eugene LaSanska.  Private services were held on May 5.
