Eileen Elizabeth Coblentz

Eileen Elizabeth (Loperena) Coblentz, 65, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away, unexpectedly, on August 7th, 2022 in her home in Fort Myers.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, August 13th, 2022 at Fuller Metz Cremation & Funeral Services located at 3740 Del Prado Boulevard Cape Coral, FL 33904. Visitation will be held between 12:00-1:30pm at Fuller Metz in the chapel. Eileen’s Minister Mr. Steven Eddy of Cape Coral Church of Christ will be officiating. Eileen was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 24th,1957.

Eileen was married to Reinaldo Loperena in October, 1976. They were married for 32 years. Eileen married her husband Laurence Coblentz on November 13th, 2021.

Eileen worked as a Police Officer with the NYPD for 10 years, her career was cut short after an on-the-job injury. She enjoyed playing Softball with the 50 Plus Softball League in Cape Coral, Florida. She loved the New York Yankees & Philadelphia Eagles. Eileen had deep love for her friends, pets & family. Eileen also loved to show her playful side by teasing, laughing and joking with those she cared about. She always tried to put a smile on everyone’s face.

Eileen is preceded in death by Her mother Eileen, her father William and her brother Michael.

Eileen is survived by her husband Laurence Coblentz. Her son Ron Loperena and his wife Rebecca and her grandson, Matthew. Her son Christopher Loperena and her grandson Christopher, Jr. Her sister Joanne Sheerer and brother William Sheerer. Her niece Denise Sheerer and cousin John Hendrickson.

Eileen will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.
