Elaine Bernice Bottens

We are saddened to announce that on October 18, 2020, at the age of 85, Elaine Bernice (Zaloudek) Bottens of Cape Coral, Florida passed away.  Mrs Bottens was born in Chicago, Illinois, and lived in Braidwood, Illinois and Minooka, Illinois during the course of her life, prior to relocating to Cape Coral in 1998.  She was employed as a secretary during her career, working to put both of her daughters through college.  She was a volunteer at the Cape Coral Hospital, serving as a welcome desk assistant, and volunteered many hours at her church.  You may leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page to pay any last tributes. In lieu of flowers and memorials, please send donations to Hope Hospice in Cape Coral.
Mrs. Bottens is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Charles Edward Bottens (94 years old) and their two children, Cynthia Diane (Bottens) Kirchner, age 60, Cynthia's husband Laurence Kirchner, age 76, and their daughter Laura Bottens, age 57.
