Eleanor "Betty' Marack

Eleanor (Betty) Marack, 97, of Cape Coral died July 21, 2018 in Cape Coral, Florida. She was born in Philadelphia, PA., and moved to this area in 1975 from Broomall, PA.
She retired from the Penn Fruit company in Philadelphia and worked at Maas Brothers in Fort Myers for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo, singing the tunes of the Big Bands, volunteering at Cape Coral Hospital, and her time as a School Crossing Guard. She especially enjoyed making friends on her many trips to "Hawaii for a Month with Betty Marack".
Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis (Gordon) Shute of Cape Coral; Grandson, Kevin Shute of Cape Coral; many nieces and nephews, including special nephew, Fred (Madeline) Seiwell of Schwenksville, PA., and special niece, Elinore (Joe) Locke of Glenolden, PA.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Phil Marack, brothers, Bob, Fred, and Jim Seiwell, and special sister, Peg (Pete) Peters.
The family would like to thank Gulf Coast Village for the compassionate care she received over the last 10 years, and to Faith Presbyterian Church for their spiritual support. We would also like to thank Cape Coral Hospital and Hope Hospice for their kindness during her recent illness.
