Emil Conrad Adams, 87, of Cape Coral, FL formerly of Burnsville, MN passed away comfortably at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, FL on Saturday April 30th, 2022.

A private ceremonial service will be held this summer.

Emil was born in on May 28th, 1934 in Cook County, IL, the son of Theresa (Storozyszyn) and Peter (Atamanczuk) Adams. Chicago is where he grew up and went to school. A place he would have loved to revisit. He enrolled in the ROTC and then the US Army. He was a Mason and a Shriner. He married Ardis (Olson) Simonson and they soon moved to the Twin Cities area. He worked for various companies in the heating and air conditioning business in MN. Emil and Ardis where divorced in 1976. He was a committed member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He had been celebrating sobriety for well over 40 years. He helped himself and many sponsors along the way. AA is where he met and then married Noreen (Paul). Together they were very successful in the real estate business for Edina Realty. They had plans to retire in Florida. Noreen Passed away in 1993. In 2001 he moved to Cape Coral, FL and built a home and followed through on his plan to retire in FL. He enjoyed his wood working shop. Something he had a very good talent for. He made thousands of wooden toy cars, trucks, etc. and would donate them for children in the hospital.

He is survived by his Children, Richard Simonson Hastings, MN, Maxine Simonson Bemidji, MN, Dawn (Robert) Lund Shakopee, MN, Douglas Adams Bemidji, MN, Neal (Denise) Adams Bemidji, MN. Grandchildren, Heidi (Nate) Reinhardt New Richmond, WI, Kelsey Adams Bloomington, MN, Kylen Adams Minneapolis, MN, Amanda Simonson, Rochester, MN, Ashley (Brian) Putnam, Bemidji, MN

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Theresa, his first wife, Ardis Adams, his second wife, Noreen Adams.
