Frances Catherine DeJourdan

Frances Catherine DeJourdan entered into eternal rest on October 2, 2019 at Hope Hospice in Fort Myers, FL. Frances had been a resident of Cape Coral for the last year and a half, having previously lived in Palm Bay for 35 years.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be remembered for her constant devotion to her family. Frances married the love of her life, Francis DeJourdan in 1948 and raised her family in Lynchburg, VA. She was a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts and was active in several Catholic groups including the Ladies of Charity and other civic groups.
In addition to making a beautiful home for her family, she worked in her garden, traveled with her husband, and enjoyed golfing. Francis, her beloved husband of 52 years, preceded her in death in 2000, as well as her grandson, Jason in 2017.
She will be dearly missed by sons, Peter (Patricia) DeJourdan and Roy (Nancy) DeJourdan as well as three granddaughters, Nichole, Olivia, and Liana.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 12PM to 2PM at the Fuller Metz Funeral Chapel in Cape Coral, FL with a prayer vigil at 1PM. Interment will take place in New York on November 2, 2019 at North Watertown Cemetery.
