Gloria Dorothy Trinkle, 95, peacefully passed on Saturday, June 2, 2018, accompanied by her loving husband at her side. Her final days were spent surrounded by her family and closest friends in Cape Coral, FL.
Gloria was born April 18, 1923, in Brooklyn, NY to Frederick and Elizabeth Wagner.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 75 years, Raymond; her children; Raymond Jr, Gregory, Lorraine, Brian, and Richard, along with 11 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Gloria was a long time member of St. Katharine Drexel Church, and volunteered her time at the Kiwanis Thrift Store in Cape Coral. Gloria will be remembered as a woman who valued family and relationships above all else. In addition to over ten years of square-dancing with friends or camping with family throughout the country, her love of family, boating, and fishing were among her most cherished activities. She loved spending her days walking the beach hand-in-hand with her husband, collecting shells. Though she would hold nothing back at game night or when it came to fishing, Gloria's family will remember her big smile and warm heart, always putting the needs of her family before her own. She leaves an imprint on the hearts of all who knew her!
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Cape Coral at 10:30am. An informal memorial and reception will immediately follow at Fuller-Metz Funeral Home for family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hope Hospice Care in Cape Coral.
