Helen Miller

Helen Miller was born on January 23rd, 1942 in Durango, Colorado. She passed away peacefully on Friday, February 1st, 2019 at the age of 77. She moved to Cape Coral with her husband, Jim Miller and her son, Jeff Miller three years ago from Louisville, Colorado to be closer to her daughter, Kelle Brooks, her husband Kendall Brooks and her two grandsons, Kylan and Kenton Brooks. She was a beloved wife, mother, Nana, Aunt, and friend. She was born to Bert and Drucilla (Graham) Coon and was the youngest of eight children. She is survived by her sister, Daisy (Coon) McCoy, of Durango, Colorado and many nieces and nephews. She lived her life for her family and will be forever remembered in our hearts. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 16th at 1pm at Fuller Metz Cremation &Funeral Services, 3740 Del Prado Blvd S., Cape Coral, Florida 33904. In June (Date TBA), the family will sprinkle her ashes on Wolf Creek pass above Durango, Colorado, after a Celebration of Life ceremony at the Chapel on Fort Lewis College in Durango, where she married her husband 57 years ago on December 15, 1961.
