JACK D. BARKER, JR

Jack “Skip” Dorman Barker, Jr. was a caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. He died on September 14, 2022, at the age of 79. 

He was born January 29, 1943, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, a son of the late Jack Dorman Barker, Sr. and Anna Florence Barker. Jack married his high school sweetheart, Linda Diane Barker, at the age of 16. Together, they had 4 children: James Michael Barker (deceased), Troy Mark Barker, Sr., Jack Dorman Barker, III, and Gregory Lance Barker. He was the proud Papaw of 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, and loving uncle of several nieces and nephews.

 Jack loved spending time and being surrounded by family, especially for the Barker’s traditional “Sunday Dinner”, where everyone was always welcome.

 A funeral service is scheduled from 10-11:30 a.m. on September 21, 2022, at the Fuller-Metz Funeral Home, located at 3740 Del Prado Blvd S., Cape Coral, FL, 33904.
