We want to express our sympathy to Dan, John, Drew and each member of your families. As you know, Jackie was a long time friend. Conversations with her were always interesting, whether at the bridge table, around a table for a meal or just anywhere that she was. We have so many memories of her, as well as of your dad, and all of you. The West Mason St neighborhood was a wonderful place for children to grow up.
Jackie's love of books led us to remember her with a donation to Polo Public Library.
With Our Sincere Sympathy. Ed and Karen Olsen

Oh, my! I just keep thinking about how Jackie and Agatha enjoyed each other and how funny things would happen when they were together next whether in Sterling or London. Jackie was a great lady, and I smile every time I think of her. We were blessed to grow up in Polo with parentsand people who looked out for us and became our friends. Please let me know when the burial service is.

We are deeply saddened to learn of Jackie's death. She was an elegant, lovely lady, with a fabulous sense of humor and a wonderful heart. Just this day I have been looking at the home Dan and Jackie shared in Polo that is newly listed as a Historic Place. How sad to discover of her recent loss. To Dan and John and Drew, our deepest sympathies and prayers for peace. From age 17 when I first started working at the Tri-County Press, I have only wonderful memories of your elegant, lovely mother. Please accept our condolences. Linda and Michael O'Connor

To the Terry family:
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your mother. I first met her approximately 50 (!) years ago, amazingly enough. She was invariably kind and welcoming, and -- growing up -- I spent countless hours in her home with her children (who are, so many years later, still my friends).
She was a smart, well-read, thoughtful, fair, remarkable person.
I will miss her.
Jonathan
