Jane Caroline Keil, passed away Late Friday Night January 26, 2018. Jane was born June 18, 1930, to Ralph Emerson Gerhart and Caroline Francis Piper Gerhart in Toledo, Ohio. She attended the University of Toledo and was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. On June 2, 1951 she married the love of her life James Fredrick Keil. Jane is a former resident of Toledo, Ohio, Muncie Indiana, Mishawaka Indiana, Granger Indiana and Cape Coral, Florida. For many years, she was actively involved in the Presbyterian Churches as an Elder. She attended and served on various committees in the Presbyteries her churches belonged to.  Jane served on the St. Joseph County Cancer Board. Jane loved her family very much. She will be very much missed by her husband of 66 years, James F. Keil; her daughters, Carol L. Libby (Brian M. Libby), Kathryn J. Keil; her grandchildren Christopher J. Libby (Jennifer Libby), Caroline M. Keil, Ryan J. Libby (Desiree Libby); her great-grandchildren Kate Libby, Jack Libby and Grayson J. Keil. Jane will also be missed by her brother, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nephews and nieces, her Japanese daughter, Yasuko Maeda Fukazawa and many friends.
