Janet Lee Beehler

Janet Lee Beehler passed away peacefully at her home in North Ft Myers on the morning of December 4th, 2022. She had been in poor health for several years. She was 59 years old. Janet was born on February 18, 1963, at Mound Park Hospital, St Petersburg to Gail C. Beehler, Jr and Nancy (Powell) Beehler. The family moved to Cape Coral while she was in grade school. Janet graduated from Ft. Myers High School. She earned a bachelor in Speech Communication from Edison State College in 1981. She was a librarian at Lee County Library for many years. Her first marriage ended in divorce. Janet married Orlo Lanclyn (Lance) Carson in 1999. The couple had triplet boys in 2002. Her second marriage ended in divorce in 2009. Janet is predeceased by her parents, her youngest son, Orlo Luke Carson and her brother William Samuel Anderson of Seattle, Washington. Janet is survived by her sons Kyle Lee Carson and Andrew Gail Carson both of North Ft Myers, her sister Allyn (Anderson) Streeter and her husband Dr. Thomas Streeter of Providence, Rhode Island, and her brothers Gratz C. Beehler of Windham, Maine, Gail (Bud) C. Beehler, III and his husband Robert Schuster, of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Timothy Duncan Beehler and his wife Shir-lene (Cricket) Smith Beehler of Dade City, FL. Additionally, Janet is survived by her step mother, Kathy Sheets Beehler and dear friend and cousin, Janet Beehler Ihns as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Janet enjoyed dancing, music especially David Bowie and was an avid reader. Through her reading, she developed a talent for storytelling amongst family and friends. A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 3:30 PM at Pincher’s Seafood Restaurant, 2360 West 1st Street, Fort Myers, Florida.
