Joan M Montemarano

Joan Montemarano, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away on October 29, 2019 in Cape Coral, Florida after 85 years of life. She was born on December 12, 1933 in Long Island, New York. Joan married the love of her life, Angelo Montemarano in 1958, and they raised their family in Holmdel, New Jersey before moving to Cape Coral, Florida in 2004.
She will be remembered as a loving wife and caring mother who loved to cook and garden, creating a warm, beautiful home for her family. She was also artistic, and especially enjoyed painting to express her creativity. Joan's devotion to family continued in her relationship with her grandchildren and great-grandchild, whom she adored. She was a kind spirit who loved animals and doted on her cats at home.
Joan was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Katherine's Catholic Church in Cape Coral.
She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband, Angelo, son Stephen (Lisa) Montemarano; daughter, Susan Montemarano; as well as three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Montemarano in 2015.
Services are private in accordance with her wishes.
