Joseph P. Marinovich, a beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away suddenly on April 27, 2018 in Naples, Florida. He was 48 years of age. Joseph was born on December 28, 1969 in Queens, New York to parents, Paul and Kathleen Marinovich. He lived in Westbury, New York before moving to Tequesta, Florida ten years ago where he was the Chief Engineer of Maintenance for Embassy Suites. He relocated to southwest Florida only three weeks ago to begin a new position as the Chief Engineer for the Hyatt on Fifth Regency. Joseph was a dedicated worker who put many hours and care into the job for which so many people depended upon him to do. He was a member of the Florida Hotel Association.
Joseph will be dearly missed by his parents, Paul and Kathleen Marinovich; sister Amy Gryn and brother in law Henry; sister Beth Sicoli and brother in law Joe; as well as niece Chelsea Gryn; nephews, Paul Gryn, Nicholas Sicoli and Jack Sicoli; in addition to many loving aunt, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 2PM to 4PM and then 6PM to 8PM at the Fuller Metz Funeral Chapel on Del Prado Blvd. South in Cape Coral, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 1:00PM St. Andrew Catholic Church, followed by interment in the Coral Ridge Cemetery in Cape Coral, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
