Joyce Thelma Cowan

Joyce Thelma Cowan, 84, of Cape Coral, Florida died on July 20, 2018. She was born January 23, 1934 in Saginaw, Michigan, the youngest of three children to Charles Ashton and Mary Alberta Yankie.
Joyce was married to Gerald Cowan in St. Paul, Minnesota on January 20, 1956 and moved to Flint, Michigan. They were married for 48 years and they had five children. They were both active members of the Masonic Lodge with Joyce participating in the Eastern Stars.
Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband and is survived by her five children, Charles Cowan (Deb)of Yale, MI, Cheryl Burch (Alvin) of Davison, MI, Mary Winston (Warren) of Holly, MI, Holly Baer (John) of Cape Coral, FL and Thomas Cowan of Flint, MI ; sister , Pauline M Cochran of Charleston, SC; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
