Kathleen M Ritz

Kathleen Ritz, 76, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away on March 8, 2020. Kay was born in Canton, Ohio February 25, 1944 to Violet and Robert Waldron. Kay earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Kent State University in 1969. She taught elementary school at Ft. Myers Beach, Tice, Orange River and middle school at Alva Middle, retiring after 37 years. When she wasn’t teaching, Kay enjoyed her summers off by spending time at the beach or pool and taking many cruises with her husband. Kay also enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

Kay is survived by her loving husband of nearly 49 years, Charles Ritz, her two daughters, Shelby (Chris) and Amanda (Ralph); and her grandchildren, Breana (Steve), Brock, Hunter and Kali all of whom will miss her dearly.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 10, 2020 from 2pm – 4pm at Case de Fiori clubhouse. Address is 1119 Winding Pines Circle, Cape Coral, FL 33909.
