Kelly Lynn Eberz, 50, of Cape Coral, Florida, formerly of Aston, PA. passed away on March 17, 2018 after a lingering illness. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, on January 18, 1968 to Ronald Lee Meyers and Garnett Osgood Meyers.
Kelly graduated from Convent of the Sacred Heart High School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She received a BA in Radio and Television from Southern Illinois University and a Masters in Education from Widener University in Chester, PA.
She was a passionate advocate for breast cancer research and twice participated in the three day, sixty mile Walk For The Cure. She was an active member of the Moms' Club of Garnett Valley, PA. and a girl scout leader at St. Joseph School in Aston, PA. She also organized teams for several MS walks.
Kelly used her great singing talent to lead programs at Gymboree. After moving to Florida in 2010, Kelly taught in several Lee County Schools.
Besides her parents, she is survived by Brian, her husband of 25 years and daughters, Hannah Elizabeth and Faith Julia.She is also survived by her parents in-law, Barbara and James Eberz, and her sister in-law and her husband, Leigh and John Guffey.
A memorial service will be held at Fuller Metz Cremation and Funeral Services, 3470 Del Prado Boulevard S., Cape Coral, Florida 33904 on March 31, 2018 from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM.
A celebration of Kelly's life will also take place in Pennsylvania at a later date.
