Larry Lee Day

Larry Lee Day, 77, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2018. Larry was born in Elon College, NC, to the late Frances and Joel Day. He graduated from Greensboro Senior High School (Grimsley) and served in the US Navy. Larry was a life-long resident of Greensboro until his move to Cape Coral in December 2014. Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Betty Tipton Day; daughter, Robin Devoe, her husband Mark, their children, Lacy, Kayley, and Heather Devoe (Key West); step-daughter, Angela Penland Fisher and her children, Spencer and Kyle Fisher (Cape Coral); sisters, JoFran Day (Greensboro), Donna Whitney and her husband, Gordon (Advance, NC); one great granddaughter and four nieces and nephews.
