Maria Sportelli

Maria (Haydu) Sportelli, age 80 of Cape Coral, Florida, formerly of Easton, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 23, 2023. Maria was born on October 23, 1942 in Szobnak, Hungary. She came to the United States in the fifties and resided in the Warren County area of New Jersey. She was a 1962 graduate of Hackettstown High School and later graduated from Empire Beauty School in Easton, Pennsylvania. Soon after she graduated Empire Beauty School, she married Dr. Matthew A. Sportelli(Chiropractor), from Easton, Pennsylvania and was his administrative assistant in his College Hill practice for many years.
They lived in the Easton area until 1998 and then they retired in Cape Coral, Florida.

She loved to travel and really enjoyed going to the casino.
She was preceded in death by her husband.

Maria is survived by her son Matthew Sportelli, of Cape Coral, Florida and her daughter Monica and her husband, Jeffrey DeRosier of Tamarac, Florida.
