Mark Allen Krieger

Mark Allen Krieger left us way too soon at the untimely age of 58 years old in Fort Myers, FL. Mark was born in Chicago, IL. in August,1959. He graduated high school at Niles West High School and then pursued his Executive Master’s in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. He pursued his career with GTE/Verizon as a Finance Director, and then later retired at an early age to pursue entrepreneurship. He married the love of his life late Susan Krieger (Goodwin) later having two beautiful children, Kelsey and Brett.
 Mark had a passion for traveling the world and a deep appreciation for the waters. He loved boating, water skiing, scuba diving, and fishing. Although some may claim him to be a poor fisherman, he was full of wisdom and wise beyond his years. Mark had a true heart of gold and loved life larger than life itself. Mark was able to live the past few years of his life waking up to the view of the water every morning, and planned his day around the sunrises and the sunsets.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Claire Krieger (Balog), and beloved wife, the late Susan K. Krieger (Goodwin). Mark is survived by his beautiful children, Kelsey and Brett Krieger; Siblings; brother Dennis, Maria Scott of Fort Myers, FL.; sister Janice Pietrucha (Krieger) and husband Gary Pietrucha of Wood Dale, IL.; brother Steven and wife Sandra (Rollins) of Cape Coral, FL.; and brother Scott of Crossvine, TX. He was deeply loved by many nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, cousins, and many friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 12th, 2018 from 2-5 P.M at the Fuller Metz Funeral Chapel on Del Prado Blvd. in Cape Coral, FL.
