Tribute

Melissa Dawn Allen Klarich Wilson Hall, long time resident of Cape Coral, FL, died unexpectedly on June 6th, 2019 at the age of 53 at Lee Memorial Hospital in Ft Myers, FL. She was born on February 3, 1966 in Springfield OH and graduated from Northeastern High School in 1985. After many moves around the country, Melissa settled in Florida where she lived her dream of spending her days on the beach enjoying the sun and sea.
Melissa was a brilliant, loving and free-spirited woman who cared for others deeply. Her favorite color was purple because it symbolized royalty, and she loved to be the queen. Melissa was known by her friends and loved ones as the life of the party, and for her ability to encourage you to try new things and see the world in a more positive light. As much as Melissa loved being a Mother, she adored being “Yaya” to her five grandbabies and made sure to spend time each day talking to her “Little Monkey” and “Michael James“.
Melissa is survived by husband Elza Hall, son Christopher (Lauren) Klarich of Sandy, UT, daughters Katie (Sean) Hartman of Corunna, IN, Makana Wilson of Springfield, OH and step daughter Alisha (Johnny) Lemen of Springfield, OH. Melissa was also known as “Yaya” and grandmother of Beau Klarich, Mason Walker, Mariah, Michael and Lucas Hartman and Logan, Dillion and Alivia Lemen. Also survived by parents Richard and Sue Allen of Springfield, OH, siblings Lisa Allen (Wes) Raber, Teresa Allen (Rob) Mosier; sister-in-law Tammy Duncan and brother-in-law Ricky Duncan.
Melissa was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Seymour and Opal Truitt, paternal grandparents Charles and Doris Allen, Uncle David Allen, mother-in-law Esther Weimer and sister-in law Janet Hall Courage.
Melissa wishes to spend eternity amongst the seas, so her ashes will be spread in the Gulf of Mexico at a later date. In lieu of funeral services, we ask you to celebrate her by gathering with friends and family and toasting to her love of life.
If you wish to make a donation in Melissa’s honor, the family asks that you contribute to an Alzheimer’s Research charity of your choice.
