Millard O. Doss

Millard O. Doss, 98, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away on peacefully November 15, 2019. He was born in Alabama in 1921. He joined the US Army at the age of 18 serving his country during World War II. He received two purple hearts during his time served. Millard worked in Chicago at a Metal Fabricating Plant after the war. In 1947 he married his dream girl Lorraine. They were married 64 years when Lorraine passed away in 2012. In 1972 Millard and Lorraine moved to Cape Coral, Florida. Millard was a custodian at North Fort Myers High School from 1972-1992. He enjoyed watching NFL and College Football. His favorite college team was the Alabama Crimson Tide. He also enjoyed sitting in front of his home talking to all his friends from around town.
Millard is survived by by many nieces and nephews. His wife Lorraine passed in 2012.
A viewing will take place on Tuesday November 19, 2019 at Fuller Metz Funeral Home from 11:00 PM – 1:00 PM. A Pastor service will take place at 12:30 PM .
