Richard Louis Middaugh

Richard “Dick” Middaugh passed away suddenly at a family gathering on April 5th, 2021. He will be dearly missed by his family and so many friends. He is pre deceased by Brenda, his wife of 58 years and their daughter Susan. He is survived by his son Brad and his wife Meg, two grandsons Evan and Luke, and Adrienne, Evan’s wife.
Dick and Brenda served side by side for decades at their church. They helped start the Friends Sunday School class that has lasted nearly 50 years. With the Friends Class, they raised scholarship funds for countless students. They served faithfully with Walk to Emmaus in servant and leadership roles and made so many close friends. They served in every ministry opportunity they could.
Even as we grieve, the family celebrates Jesus’ victory over death and the promise of the resurrection and have full confidence in God’s promises.
Service will be held at Cape Coral First United Methodist Church on Tuesday April 13th at 1pm with a reception following. Memorial donations should be made the church and designated for the Brenda Middaugh Scholarship Fund, 4118 Coronado Pkwy, Cape Coral 33904.
