Robert Edward Martin

 Robert Martin of Cape Coral, FL, died unexpectedly from heart complications on May 5, 2021 at the age of 94.
Bob grew up in East Lansing, MI. Following discharge from the Navy after World War II, he earned a degree in Industrial Management from Michigan State College (now MSU).
He then joined the Fisher Body Division of GM in Lansing, serving in various capacities until retiring as Plant Supervisor.
After retirement, Bob, and his wife Elaine, divided their time between Cape Coral, FL and Traverse City, MI.
They loved raising their four daughters, and spent their time boating and world traveling. Bob was an avid golfer, and was still out on the greens every week.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Stan and Ruth; his wife of 60 years, Elaine; and his brother, Don.
He is survived by four daughters and their spouses, five grandchildren, and one great grandchild. There will be a private family gathering later in May.
