Robert "Bob" Dale Knickman was born in Baltimore, MD on February 20th, 1959 to Carrie Arnena Owen and Maynard Paul Knickman.  He worked for over 20 years in the radio/tv industry as a DJ/VJ, then changed career paths in 2004 to work as the Director of Special Events for the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce. After defeating cancer but struggling with various other health issue, he passed away of natural causes on July 9th, 2017 in Orlando, FL.  He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Beth Knickman, his son-in-law, Federico Cancellieri,  his two grandchildren, Giacomo and Livia Cancellieri, his mother, Carrie McNeil and his sister, Wanda Barthel.  He will also be particularly missed by his second ex-wife, Jonica Chaney, with whom he had recently rekindled a loving relationship, and his first ex-wife, Mary Lee, with whom he found a renewed friendship.  Bob's final Special Event will take place at 6:00 PM Wednesday August 2, 2017 at Fuller Metz Funeral Home, 3740 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, Fl. 33904
