Roberta Schaub

Roberta Schaub, 70, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away September 13, 2021.  She was born January 17, 1951 in Teaneck, New Jersey to Robert E. Schaub and Angela Ann Vitabile.

Roberta was baptized in Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. She graduated from the University of Dayton with a bachelor degree in psychology and received her masters degree in psychology from Fordham University. She spent 33 years teaching children with special needs in the New Jersey public school system.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Mark Schaub.  She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years Roger S. Keay; her brother David Schaub; her sister Lisa Savalin; and her beloved nieces Kathryn and Christine.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in the chapel at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Boulevard South, Cape Coral, Florida at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 7, 2021.  A Memorial Mass will also be celebrated in the spring of 2022 in New Jersey.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made in Roberta’s name to the Alztheimer’s Association at alz.org or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org/donate.
