Roberto Monteagudo

Roberto Monteagudo, age 76, passed away at his home in Cape Coral, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.  He was born on February 2, 1943 in General Carrillo Las Villas, Cuba to Andres and Alejandra (Caceres) Monteagudo.  On July 23, 1965, he married Elsa Hernandez.  Together they had two daughters.  Roberto emigrated with his wife and daughters from Cuba in 1980 and made a beautiful life for his family in New Jersey until 1996 when he moved to Florida permanently.  He was a loving husband, father, and friend and loved by so many.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Elsa; daughters, Evelyn (Jose) and Leidy (Aleman); 6 grandchildren, Christopher, Justin, Christine, Jeffrey, Jacklyn, and Robert. 

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 2PM to 6PM at the Fuller Metz Funeral Chapel on Del Prado Blvd. South in Cape Coral. The funeral service will begin at 6PM in the chapel. Interment will be held on MOnday, May 20, 2019 at 11AM at Coral Ridge Cemetery on Pine Island Road in Cape Coral.
