On Monday, August 13th, 2018, Ruth Eytcheson, loving wife and mother of three children, passed away at the age of 90. She was born on November 23rd, 1927 in Peru, Indiana to Luther and Margaret Townsend. On March 30th, 1945, she married the love of her life, Cliff Eytcheson.
Ruth had a passion for reading and spending time with her friends and family. She had the purest and most loving of hearts and made sure to live everyday to the fullest. When she wasn’t reading she could be found at “work”, although if you were to have asked her, she never worked a day in her life. She got to spend everyday with some of her best friends and she loved every second of it.
Ruth was preceded in death by her father, Luther, her mother, Margaret, her brother Fred Townsend, her son, David Eytcheson, her daughter, Cheryl Eytcheson, and the love of her life, her husband Cliff Eytcheson. She is survived by her sister Roberta Norket, her brother Phillip Townsend, her son Larry Eytcheson along with his wife Sandi Eytcheson. Loving Grandmother to her 4 grandchildren, Lori and husband JR, Nikki, Doug, and Duwayne. Loving Great Grandmother to Chelsea, Lance, Kierstin, Jade, Austin, Kayla and Theresa and Great Great Grandmother to Xavier and Zain.
A celebration of Ruth’s life will be held on Friday, August 17th at 10am at Metz Funeral Home 3740 Del Prado Blvd S Cape Coral,FL 33904.
