You don't come across people very often in life such as Ryan. We didn't know him for years, as others have, but to know Ryan was to know life. As a single mother, having my kids with him was my safety. There wasn't anything that was thrown his way that he couldn't..or wouldn't handle. There is a big hole in my heart from his passing. But if there is one thing I will take away from this is to live as he did. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Rogowski for giving us this great gift. And my children and I will be forever blessed to have the memories of the time that we did get to have knowing him. Prayers to you and your family. All of our love..Michelle, Fatimah & Rawhi.

Ryan, you will forever be in our hearts. My family and I have known you for 6-7 years. In that time you have watched my children grow and I watched you grow from a young man to an amazing adult. You had a love for all the kids and knew how to talk to each one. You are a very unique person. The youth center will not be the same without you impacting the lives of each child. We love you Ryan (by now you would be flipping me a bird and smiling) The Alvarez Family

Rogowski family,
There are no words that can comfort you during this terrible time, but we want you to know that your son Ryan was and will always be considered a dear friend. We were introduced to Ryan at the youth center when our youngest son Noah was attending after school programs at the youth center. Ryan immediately took Noah under his wing, and for years mentored him, protected, encouraged and guided him. Evertime we saw Ryan at work or outside of work he was happy and smiling and full of life, love and passion. He was an inspiration to our son and we will be forever grateful to him and you for raising such an amazing man.

Dear Ryan you will be missed by many people. Your smile and kindness was felt through many people you have touched. I personally had the pleasure of watching you engage with my daughter and my grand children that attended the youth center. You had quite the ability to be personal with some many kids and remembering there names , very remarkable! You made an impact on many levels. Your passing even though is very sad. Your smile will always be the sunshine that will last through time. May god bless you with his love and your family. May you rest in peace. You won't be forgotten!

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Rogowski. We were sad to hear about the lost of your son Ryan. We knew Ryan when my daughter Kaitlin and my two grandsons were attending the youth center. And yes its true your son was a special individual. He was caring and always with a smile on his face. Willing to help others with kindness and respect. I can't imagine your lost and the pain you are enduring. But I do know time will mend all things. God will have a special place for Ryan. Life is funny that way. Good people always seem to pass away first. But I'm sure there is a reason. May god rest on his sole and peace be with your family.

Mrs. & Mr. Rogowski your son was special and will be missed!!!
There are no words to express our feelings. He spoke to me on Friday about his promotion to the Athletics division for Parks & Recs in the City and how sad my daughters were when he told them – He seem so happy about his new role (I still cannot believe he is gone). Ryan was very special. He had an amazing personality, he was always smiling, caring, and loving. He touched our lives with his amazing spirit. He was a great person. My daughters Jenalee & Emely will miss him tremendously. Our deepest sympathy to your family, we have you in our prayers and thoughts. Rest in peace Ryan.

We send our deepest condolences to his family and friends. Ryan was an incredible sole. He was a rare find especially at his age when we first met him. He was a counselor for both my kids but mainly my son years ago. My son would talk so highly of him. He was someone who our son would go to for advice or just to talk random talk kinda looked to him like a big brother. Til this day our son would occasionally reach out to check in and say what’s up. He now is a senior in high school and when I broke the news to him he was deeply sadden. To find someone especially at the age he was when we first met to have such a good head on his shoulders and could tell he truly enjoyed doing what he did was a joy and as a parent made me happy knowing our kids were in good hands. As our son starts his final season of high school baseball he has decided to dedicate his first home game this Friday to Ryan and has changed his walk up songs to a couple of his favorites that he remembers Ryan would always play. So thank you Ryan for being such an incrediable person who played a part in our sons life and left such an impression on him even after his camp days. You will be deeply missed. Thank you to his family for raising such a caring young man.

We are truly saddened to hear of the passing of such a vibrant loving young man. Ryan made a huge positive impact on all three of my girls while they were growing up. I remember coming to pick them up and hearing about how cool Mr Ryan was because he actually played with them and engaged them. As they grew older he still remembered their names although he had hundreds of children he mentored and guided throught the years. Thank you Mr Ryan for being a light in this world.
