William J Clark

Tribute

William “Bill” Clark, Sr. passed away June 14th, 2020 at Hope Hospice Care, Cape Coral, FL after a long illness.

He was predeceased by his parents Evelyn K. and Benjamin G. Clark 1st and his brother Benjamin G. Clark 2nd. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Patricia Clark; his children Kelly Collier, William Clark, Jr. and Shawn Clark; eight grandchildren Lindsay (Russell) Adams, Mallory Collier, Abigail, Justin, Bill, Katie, Shawn P. and Georgia Clark; three great grandchildren Natalie and Ethan Adams and Grayson Clark; his sisters Sandra Daniels, Kathleen Crofts and spouse Raymond and Dorothy Cassandra and spouse John; brother Edward Clark and spouse Jill; sister-in-law Susan Webster and spouse Mike; and brothers-in-law Charles Jarvis and Pete Jarvis. Many loved nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Bill was a Vietnam veteran. He graduated from Old Saybrook High School in Saybrook, CT and the Culinary Institute of America with a Masters degree in culinary arts. Bill owned and operated many restaurants in Connecticut and the New York area. The last was Cornell’s in Schenectady, NY.

In 1994 Bill and Patty moved to the Fort Myers, FL area. Bill loved taking his girls to lunch, cooking shows, the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots and playing cards with George and Emmie.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in his memory to Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, FL or to any veterans fund.

Bill touched many lives and was loved by all.
