William Edward Miller Jr.

William E. (Bill) Miller, 71 of North Fort Myers, FL passed from this life suddenly on April 23, 2024. He was born on April 23, 1953 in Charleston, SC to William E. Miller, Sr. and Ruth Boone Miller. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marilyn; a son, Mark who is currently serving in the U.S. Navy in Rota, Spain; a sister, Betty Beckum of Charleston, SC; nieces Lisa Winn, Lindsay Glenn, Lauren Mayes, and Leslie Beckum; and four grandnephews and two grandnieces. He was predeceased by his sister Barbara Dority. Bill was a 1979 graduate of Clemson University and a lifelong Tigers fan. He was an avid golfer and member of Palmetto-Pine Country Club, Cape Coral, FL and The Beech Mountain Club, Beech Mountain, NC. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Fuller Metz Funeral Home, 3740 Del Prado Blvd., Cape Coral, FL. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday April 30, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Presbyterian Church, 4544 Coronado Pkwy, Cape Coral, FL. Bill will be terribly missed by his family and his wide circle of friends and golf buddies. Memorial donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org).
