William C. Rhoad, 76, of Cape Coral, FL passed away on September 16, 2017 after a valiant battle with cancer.   He was born in Findlay, OH to the late C.E. and Dorothy Rhoad.  He was a proud Army Veteran.  Bill was in the insurance business, starting as a debit insurance agent and ultimately owning his own agency.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert L. Rhoad and sister in law, Lois DePuy.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; sons, Steven (Kristin) and Michael (Lisa).  He was a proud "Pop" to grandchildren, Jessica Rhoad, Taylor Rhoad, Sara Rhoad, Cameron Rhoad and Kendra O'Brien.  He is also survived by sisters in law, Janice (Mike) Miller, Patricia DePuy, and brother in law, Jim DePuy.
Bill enjoyed woodworking, boating, fishing and camping.
A memorial service will be held at the Fuller Metz Funeral Chapel in Cape Coral, FL  on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11:00AM, followed immediately by a reception at the family home in Cape Coral to reminisce and share happy memories.
