You will be missed big time Michael my cousin and friend especially when the Iowa Hawkeye football team plays. No one to text or talk too during the Pinstripe game on the 27th and laugh about the fat lady singing if the Hawkeyes aren't doing well. Hopefully they will win just for you and you will have a front row seat. I will always remember the song by Elvis Presley "Wooden Heart" that I sang to you when you were little in the hospital that was one way of getting you to go to sleep. We always kepted one another informed about our relatives, weather and many other things. Hope you got to enjoy some of those kolaches that I sent down with Kevin as a suprise for you and Beth.

Rest in Peace Michael

I was one of Mike's co-workers at LCSO. He was a great co-worker and friend. Mike always greeted the day with a happy grin and ended the day with that same smile. It was contagious and he help to make our team one of the best! It was an honor to talk with Mike's family yesterday and to feel the loving, supportive bond they have, no wonder Mike was such a great guy willing to do whatever he could to make your day a good and happy one. He will be missed by many but never forgotten! I was glad to call him friend and you all were truly blessed to call him family! Always in our hearts, until we meet again.

Mike was a great guy. Always happy and smiling. There were four of us that worked side by side in the 911 center. Someone decided we were the crew on Gilligan's Island. Mike was Gilligan, I was Ginger, Tim Barker was the Skipper and Mary Yanka of coarse was Mary A.nn who unfortunately left us after a terrible motorcycle accident. We all worked so well together and had so much fun. I'm really going to miss Gilligan. He was the first to like or make a comment on anything written on Facebook. He was a guy you could really count on. Safe sails Gilligan, you were one of a kind.

He was a man who knew the true meaning of friendship and the value of being a good friend.
He genuinely cared about and wanted to know what was going on in your life and was always in your corner, cheering you on.
He was so proud of Jordyn and Koby and loved hearing stories about them.
And he always reminded me that Florida was a good place to Vacation ♡♡♡
♡He will be missed by all that knew him ♡

He was a great Uncle and friend to me. He was easy to talk and was a great listener. Any time I would complain about Iowa weather, he would remind me, that i always had a place to stay with him in sunny Florida 😊 he made sure I knew he was proud of me and very loved. The small things meant the world to him and I will always admire him for that.
For those of you that didn’t have the opportunity to know him, he was truly a kind, patient, and strong person. For those of you that did know him, you know those words are true. He will be forever missed by his loved ones.
